Hi
What version of your vCD
Hi JohnD0406,
Can you try with the following steps and see if it helps:
1) Quit Fusion
2) Reboot the macOS host
3) Launch Fusion and give it a try again.
Also, does the usb drive work in other VMs like Linux or macOS?
Regards,
-Rick
I applied the solution ways in the link but I couldn't succeed again. Who has a different opinion?
I made Hyper-V disable, again I encountered the same error.
Your host does not meet minimum requirements to run VMware Workstation with Hyper-V or Device/Credential Guard enabled. Refer to VMware KB article 76918 at https://kb.vmware.com/kb/76918 for more details.
I would like to see you upgrade macOS without:
1) Quit Fusion
2) Reboot macOS host
3) Launch Fusion and give it a try again.
Really? Thanks for the attempted help I guess, but please read more carefully.
PS - I guess you totally missed the part about it working fine again after downgrading Fusion.
PPS - To answer your question, USB drives would not mount in other Win10 or macOS VM's.
Just downloaded it andddddddd IT WORKS!!! I am back in business. Thanks!
Have you seen this continue or have other problems? I'm seeing similar behavior, but I see it both in Chrome and FF. The whole VM will hang for a couple minutes, by CPU fan will spin way up, and then when it comes back, one of the tabs in either chrome or FF is dead.
Hi,
Thanks for your support and please find the data file from the link below (Microsoft OneDrive link):

Hoping this issue could be fixed soon.
Thanks
I'm already aware of the workarounds for this issue, just wondering if there is an ETA for a permanent fix.
Hi Keith09
Not sure if you are hitting the same issue and logs are matching. In case you are facing same issue check below:
Fail to create computer account it1582869343
Insufficient Access rights: unable to create entry, resultCode=50 (insufficient access rights),
> Log clearly shows error 4003 (insufficient access rights) which means horizon service account doesn't have permission to create/add computer accounts in AD OU as defined while creating instant clone pool.
Error: problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS) | Microsoft Docs
> Please check the horizon service account has correct permission to create/add machine accounts in AD OU:
Restarting the VPXD service cleared the error
Mark this as resolved
Thanks
Hi bmooney2017
Remaining rearm count is no. attempts left to reset evaluation period/licensing status and activation state of the machine. It is basically no. of times you can rearm the license when it is unactivated. If licensing is the problem you will see error "Failed to activate the software license error 16" in desktop pool summary page after customization times out.
I would suggest to create below key on master image and recompose the pool, it will customize the machines skipping license activation and isolate the problem:
> If customizing still fails, check below logs to find where it is failing.
View composer logs : C:\windows\temp\xxxx.composer-agent-ga-new.log
Sysprep logs location: VMware Knowledge Base
Domain join logs: %systemdrive%\windows\debug\netsetup.log & netlogon.log
We are having Horizon 7.9 running on ESX 6.7 build 16075168, with Windows 10 1903 desktops and NVIDIA M60 cards. We are planning to switch from Linked Clones to Instant Clones, but looks like Instant Clones are not 'instant' when GPU is used.
We see that the Instant Clones go through an additional reboot cycle upon 'delete on logoff'. When the user logs off, the machine is deleted, a new machine is provisioned, but it comes without the nVIDIA GPU attached. Then the VM is shutdown and comes back with attached GPU. This delay defeats the purpose of Instant Clones.
Anybody knows if this is a known issue and when it will be resolved?
Hi Dominik,
I am trying to get Horizon to work on Fedora 32. Initially, I could not get Horizon to launch when clicking on the remote machine name in the organization portal. After building the RPM package using the recipe on your gitlab space, I could get it to launch, but with an unresponsive black screen. Have you been able to get this to work on Fedora 32? If yes, could you please provide some pointers for me. Thank You!
The vCenter Console Access permissions on vm's works fine and the user's are able to view the Console of the vm from vCenter, but when they connect to the vCenter via VMware Workstation they are unable to view the Console of the vm's where they have the Console Access permissions. So now what kind of permissions are required to view the vm Console via VMware Workstation ?
vCenter ver 6.5
Workstation ver 15.x
I can not reproduce the issue in my test machine following the steps in https://1drv.ms/u/s!AnJkahC5qjfidJBrRinbh3T-cuY?e=N0OMog. The app is displayed correctly and all the content is shown after app launch immediately
My tools version is 11.0.6 and guest OS version is 19041.264. I use Nvidia 2080Ti for testing.
Could u upload your vmware.log to further analysis?
Hi all
Im planning to build my vmware esxi 6.5 home lab using either ((that will help me for VCP DCV 6.5 and my CCIE LAb))
1) IBM X3650 M3 2x Quad core Xeon X5570 or 2X HEX core Xeon X5670 system
OR
2) HP Proliant DL380 G6 2 x Quad core Xeon X5550
but CPU compatible list says these both CPU support ESXi 6.5 .
but when i search for IBM X3650 system and HP system , vmware compatibility list says it does not support ESXi 6.5.
im Little confused with this mismatch , please help to clarify this confusion.

Can anybody help me with multicast traffic routing to a virtual machine running on ESXI 6.0 in IBM Blade chassis BCH with server connectivity module.
I am planning to move my old NAS data over to a virtualized FreeNAS server running on ESXi.
I do not have an HBA yet and was going to use the ever popular 9210-8i but saw its no longer supported in ESXi 7.0 but also am seeing that it doesn't matter f its being used for passthrough.
I will be using my boards integrated SATA controller for the drives housing my VMs and it is working fine but I don't want to buy a card that is going to give me trouble.
If it's wiser to get something else, I am open to suggestions. My needs are modest, just planning to run a 5-6 SATA drive array at the moment.
Thanks in Advance
Those bcdedit commands worked great! Thank you!!
