I cannot set Port Forwarding
in GUI, whenever I set Port Forwarding rule, it disappears after the window is closed
in txt file, vmnetnat.conf as below, only the first two lines are working (set by vagrant)
all other lines do not work and do not appear in GUI manager

GPU Passthrough is possible with VMware vSphere, not with VMware Workstation.
Note that the GPU Passthrough capability on vSphere is aimed at the professional graphics cards, not the end user ones.
For NVIDIA end user cards you have to apply some hacks (google it), not sure if that's needed for AMD.
The marketing page for VMware Workstation might state how great it is, and I'd say it isn't bad, but it might come up short for professional use when you want to run things like Solidworks or AutoCAD. It's a virtualized graphics adapter and as such it is much less powerful, because there's a lot that a VM cannot directly access and use.
I would just "try and see" in that case and not immediately take marketing's word for that.
There's a 30 day trial version, so try before you buy.

This issue exists in Fedora 30 as well. libnsl was already installed. So here is the command I used instead:
ln -s /usr/lib64/libnsl.so.2 /usr/lib64/libnsl.so.1

Apologised in advance, I should listen to your straight away rather than waste my time with Support. I have updated vcsa to 6.7.0.4100 and bingo all green and happy cluster. VDS was nothing to do with the issue, anyway I have upgraded to 6.6. The only thing is pending Disk format version, as far as I know it is not necessary to upgraded but do you think I should do it? It is any risk in doing it?

You have to deploy the Control VM during the DLR creation . You cannot add an Edge appliance to the logical router after the logical router is created.

Yeh, this option is to create a DLR control VM with the main role is to handle the dynamic routing.
But for DLR, it is not supported to attach their interfaces to VLAN tagged port groups directly connected to the physical environment. For this scenario, you need to deploy an ESG with transit logical switch between ESG and DLR.

thank you for your interesting notes and the corresponding link. As far as I got it correctly there is a little hope that under "VMware Workstation 15.5 Pro" the technology of using host printers might work provided the right older version of VMware Tools are installed on a Win 2000 guest system. Nevertheless I found notes that the constellation of "VMware Worksation 15" and "VMware Tools 9.6.5" works well as far as using host printers is concerned. To reach the goal, an old horse (that´s me) has to overcome further hurdles:
a) How can I download the file "windows-Tools9.6.5.iso" as appropriate version of VMware Tools?

As far as I got it correctly I have to avoid going through the menu (VM/Install VMware Tools), otherwise I will get the version 10.0.12, which does not work.

We also advice that we can integrate the ESXi host from local domain to current domain i.e. Domain A instead of integrating with domain B ( after changing the DNS entry and re-booting the host) but they are citing huge risks saying legacy application will be impacted.

So, in summary, domain "A" can speak to domain "B", but not vice versa.
If the legacy applications are in domain "B" for Client\Users of domain "A" there is no problem. But if the Legacy applications are in domain "A" the Client\Users cannot log in because the two domains do not speak in that direction.
If you don't want to have problems, you need to allow two-way communication between the two domains.
