Well, Resource Pool cannot be exercised on Storage. It can be set for CPU and Memory AFAIK. However, in your case, the Big VM of 610GB provisioned 1.2TB, we need to see if we can clone the VM to a thin disk format, which will end up using less space and increase on the usage.
